NFL Week 9 predictions

Top Games:

1)      TB vs. NO

This is a rematch of a matchup in which the Buccaneers took a 26-20 victory just one week after they were crushed by the 49ers. The Buccaneers are never a team to take lightly, but they show some inconsistency. I wish I could say the Saints are consistent but they just lost to the Rams. When it’s all said and done, I believe the “WHO DAT” nation will prevail on their home turf.

2)      BAL vs. PIT

This is also a rematch of a week 1 matchup that many people were looking forward too; however the Ravens dominated the entire game and won 35-7. That resulted in a lot of speculation surrounding the Steelers defense and if they were too old to play at an elite level. I believe they have answered the call as shown by their impressive win over the Patriots this past Sunday. With the Ravens offense struggling, I believe the Steelers will continue to roll and pick up another win.

3)      Chi vs. PHI

No rematch here, but certainly an interesting matchup. The Bears defense has been solid all year long and Cutler + Forte have proved to be a deadly combo this year. The Bears can spread the field on offense and also pound the rock with Forte. On the other side the Eagles have bounced back from their slow start and look to be heading in the right direction. The Bears will run on the less than impressive run defense the Eagles “Wide 9” brings to the table. But I believe the Eagles will be able to get their high octane offense going as well with weapons across the board. All things considered, the Eagles pull of a close win in Philly for the home crowd.

Carlos Rogers (Picture above) will play
his first game against his former team
the Washington Redskins this Sunday.
