College Football - Top Games: Week 11

Top Three Games on Saturday:

3. TCU at No. 5 Boise State (12:30 PM PT on Versus) - TCU is the final obstacle standing in the way of Boise State's perfect season and the Horned Frogs would love nothing more than to be party crashers in tomorrow afternoon at Bronco Stadium. Kellen Moore looks to continue his strong senior campaign and add onto his 2230 yards and 29 touchdowns against a TCU defense that has been inconsistent throughout the season. The Bronco defense will have its hands full with a Horned Frog's rushing attack that is ranked 16th in the country and is averaging 228 yards per game thanks to Sophomore Waymon James and Junior Matthew Tucker. Boise State is holding onto its national championship hopes by a string, but the Broncos will benefit from a win in a game that will surely boost their strength of schedule. Chris Petersen and the gang will pull this one out by two or three scores and let the BCS computers do their magic. PICK: Boise State

2. No. 19 Nebraska at No. 12 Penn State (9:00 AM PT on ESPN) - Football returns to State College amidst a terrible child-sex abuse scandal that has shaken the Penn State community and football program.  Interim head coach Tom Bradley will step into the spotlight to fill the role that Joe Paterno held for 45 years, but it is clear that the football game will come second to the horrific scandal that will affect Penn State for years to come. The safety of our children always comes before anything else and the Nittany Lion community realizes that, as the crowd is going to wear blue to raise awareness of child abuse. Bradley and Penn State will have their hands full with Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez and running back Rex Burkhead, but expect the Nittany Lion defense to rise to the occasion. This is sure to be an emotional game and a must-see no matter where you live in U.S. PICK: Nebraska

1. No. 7 Oregon at No. 4 Stanford (5:00 PM PT on ABC) - After the SEC dominated the news last week, the Pac-12 will have its turn this week with what's sure to be a more exciting game offensively than the so-called "game of the century." Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck has looked human in less than Heisman-worthy performances against USC and Oregon State but has continued to prove his ability to win the big games. The Oregon defense has the athleticism and size to contain Luck and the Stanford offense but will have to put pressure on the Cardinal quarterback to create turnovers. On defense, Stanford has allowed only 16 points per game and has the physicality to shut down the Oregon run game. Quarterback Darron Thomas and running back LaMichael James will be hard to stop if they can turn the corner on runs, but the game will ultimately come down to Thomas' arm and whether or not he can make the clutch throws to keep the game close. Expect a wild one on the Farm, but not an upset, as the Stanford Cardinal will pull this one out in a high scoring contest. PICK: Stanford
